If you are on regular medication, your pharmacist will issue a computerised repeat prescription form.
Please use the tear-off slip attached to your prescription to re-order repeat prescriptions. These can be put in the post box on the wall outside the surgery.
Please tick each item clearly on the tear-off slip to indicate which repeat medication you require. Please note this service is for repeat medications only.
You can also order your repeat prescriptions online via the link at the top of this page; please ask at reception to register.
In this difficult time please allow up to 72 hours for your repeat prescriptions to be processed by the surgery.
From 1st June 2021 only housebound patients coded on our system as such, will be able to order prescriptions over the telephone. All other patients will have to order either on line using one of the apps available, email or by placing a paper order request in the post box outside the surgery
It will be necessary for you to be seen at intervals to review your medication.
Electronic Prescribing Service
This practice is set up for the Electronic Prescription Service or EPS
All prescriptions will be sent electronically to a pharmacy, if you do not have a nominated pharmacy, the prescription will be stored electronically in the cloud until you attend a pharmacy, and the pharmacy will retrieve the prescription and dispense the medication for you. You may be issued with a prescription token, this is not a prescription, but we accept that for some patients they prefer to have a paper token recording the medication prescribed for them

Help with NHS costs
In England, around 90% of prescription items are dispensed free. This includes exemptions from charging for those on low incomes, such as:
- those on specific benefits or through the NHS Low Income Scheme
- those who are age exempt
- those with certain medical conditions
- More information is available at NHS Choices
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
- Prescription (per item): £9.35
- 12-month prepayment certificate (PPC): £108.10
- 3-month PPC: £30.25
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
- Telephone advice and order line 0845 850 0030
- General Public - Buy or Renew a PPC On-line
